Americas military is in rough shape. No one can pass fitness standards, equipment keeps getting "lost" and we don't have the manufacturing capacity we once did. We may not be able to win the next major war. Local politics is better than national politics because your local councilmen has to answer to you at church or the store. They can't hide away in the DC bubble.
