Autumn day greetings intrepid travelers of the information super highway.
We hope the locals of the Mountain District Radio broadcast area are keeping warm and well and to all the wonderful humans around the world we hope you're well and suitably attired for a comfortable day.
No guest today. Music and nonsensical ramblings interspersed with heartfelt shout outs to you. Thanks for getting touch via the sms line. Thank you for your time and warm company. It makes our day. We really do enjoy your company and appreciate your support of this shamozzle of a program.
We acknowledge that the music isn't always to your liking and we hope that there's enough of your preferred arrangement of notes, melodies, lyrics and beats to give you a lift across the program. We love music and we know you do too. So many flavours to choose from.
Flavours!?
Yes Elliot. Flavors. What's tasty for your ears.
Oh. ok. How do you spell flavours Peej?
I'm not really sure Elliot. I thought it was one way and the computer tells me it's spelt another way. It's bamboozling out there in word land.
Peej?
Yes Elliot?
Did you mention cottage pie? You know I love cottage pie. Will you be sourcing some sauce?
I do Elliot. I do know you love cottage pie. And yes. Yes I did mention how good a home cooked red lentil cottage pie, smothered with buttery mashed potato topped with a chewy cheese with a Parmesan type of flavour thing going on. And no. There won't be any sauce. Also, if you were paying attention Elliot, you would also know that I promised our listener we would share the recipe. Just gotta find that piece of paper I wrote it down on and will post it up post haste. Right after I find it. Or was it a picture? Did I take a picture? From a recipe book? From a friends recipe book? Was it on the internet? Did I take a screen shot? Maybe if I cooked it now muscle memory could kick in. And write it all down.
Peej?
Yes Elliot?
You need to calm down. Did you set the timer for tonight's dinner that you put in the oven some time ago?
Ah shit.
