Rolf lived in Launceston back in the 1980s and sang in many theatre productions around town, and has many vivid memories of those years. He even presented German programs on Launceston’s very new community radio station in the mid-80s. But it was after being introduced to musical theatre in Tasmania that Rolf returned to Germany and had a thirty year career on stages around Europe.
