Husband and wife medical duo, Doctors Jennifer and Bruce Barker, are originally from Victoria but have called Tasmania home for the past 20 years. They spent the early part of their careers in public health and private practice in Melbourne and regional Victoria, but were subsequently attracted to the Tasmanian lifestyle and decided to pursue their professional careers in Launceston.

From 2015 to 2021 Jennifer and Bruce worked for Central Australian Health providing medical services to the remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in the Northern Territory. Doctors Jennifer and Bruce Barker chat with Adrian Wood.
