Launceston musician Evan Carydakis first played saxophone on-stage over 25 years ago, but only released his first recording last year. Evan has now released a new song that is getting airplay on smooth jazz radio stations across America.

This Hot Seat episode coincided with a very special event that was held in Campbell Town on the very same day. The Northern Tasmanian Light Horse Troop hosted the War Animal Remembrance Day and a plaque was unveiled to honour the contribution of all animals that served in time of war. Terese Binns and Sherrie Rees from the Light Horse Troop talked to Chris Sayer about the Dedication, the ceremony in Campbell Town later that day, and some of the many animals that have participated in war.
