Don Ives is a long-time local musician who has been playing his piano around Tasmanian since the mid-1950s. Don tells Chris Sayer how he came to music, and how he learned from so many people that he played with over many years, including the famous Jazzmanians. It will be trip down memory lane for anyone who has ever listened to live local jazz. In June, 2020, Don Ives was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his service to music and the community - a well deserved honour.
