The idea is to make us all more productive, and supercharge our economy with a data centre building boom. But to get there, Anthony Albanese would have to break his promise to musicians, artists and writers to protect their copyright – and back down on his vow that all data centres should run on green energy. Would the compromise be worth the pay-off?
