In this latest edition of the On The Rock podcast with host Mark Hedden, we speak with artist, illustrator, and writer Edel Rodriguez about his graphic memoir "Worm." It's the story of Edel and his families journey from Cuba to the United States in 1980 during the 1980 Mareil Boatlift. During his career Rodriguez has also illustrated some controversial covers for magazines such as Time, Newsweek, and Der Spiegel. Rodriguez has also been the subject of an episode of the American Masters series on PBS. An exhibition of his artwork will be on display at the Studios of Key West through January 29, 2026.
