They then discuss the loss of Pele, and his impact on not just soccer but the sports world in general. They then do a brief rundown of some college basketball, including Butler and Purdue.

28:11 – 49:00 – Jake and Marc talk about the Colts matchup with the Giants on Sunday, and how most of the intrigue for the game has gone away due to their recent skid and elimination from playoff contention. They review the disappointing season as a whole. Jake says the Colts made a tactical error when they benched Matt Ryan for Sam Ehlinger, back when the season was still salvageable. The conversation then turns back to Pele, and the legacy he leaves behind.  

49:01 - 1:24:51 – Greg Rakestraw from the ISC Sports Network, and host of the Colts postgame show, joins the program to preview the Colts-Giants game, go over the Colts season in general and where it went wrong, and to talk about where the franchise goes from here. They dive into why the Colts are sticking with Nick Foles, and not seeing what they have in Ehlinger. Finally, Greg gives his thoughts on the passing of Pele. Jake and Marc then go into the Morning Checkdown. 

1:24:52 – 1:37:05 – Jake and Marc talk about OJ Simpson in Towering Inferno, how the famous Bronco chase was so bizarre and notable, and how his downfall was so shocking. They then talk about the origins of Peyton Manning’s famous “Omaha” call.
