(00:00 - 14:54) - Jake debuts his pick for a Sweet Sixteen matchup by putting on a shirt from that college. He predicts an Arkansas victory over UConn tonight. Kevin and Query go over all the possible matchups with some banter on who they predict will be making an Elite Eight appearance. San Diego State has been a surprise this season holding both their opponents in the tournament to season lows in scoring. The Fairleigh Dickinson head-coach has stated in the past the Notre Dame is his dream job, after the Purdue upset is that more of a reasonable idea? Query believe that UMBC's upset victory was still a bigger surprise than Fairleigh Dickinson's upset over the Boilermakers. Talk returns to the Hoosiers and how their players just fell flat on every opportunity against Miami.
(14:55 - 45:44) - Bob Kravitz of The Athletic joins the program to talk NCAA Tournament Action. Kravitz predicted that IU would be in the tournament longer than Purdue but didn't think that Fairleigh Dickinson would be the ones to send them packing. Kravitz thinks that Purdue needs guards in order to become a team that can compete outside of just the Big Ten. He is confident that Matt Painter will become a dominant coach at some point but needs to re-evaluate his recruiting to get there. Query transitions to IU talk and asks Kravitz what the Hoosiers will need to do in order to compete next season. Kravitz says the answer is the transfer portal. Freshman won't solve the problem IU is facing, so transfers are going to be the only way to continue their competitive streak. Kevin wants to know Bob's thoughts on Colts free agency. Kravitz is interested in the fact that Indianapolis spent so much on a kicker, which there is value in since so many NFL games come down to 3 points now.
