 The Market Theatre is celebrating 50 years as South Africa's iconic
"Theatre of the Struggle." Founded in 1976 by Barney Simon and
Mannie Manim, it became a powerful symbol of artistic freedom and
resistance during apartheid.

 Did you know? The Democratic Republic of the Congo was renamed
Zaire in 1971 before returning to its current name in 1997. The country is
