announced a landmark concert, The 2Baba Experience, on 29 March
2026 at Eko Hotel & Suites, celebrating 25 years in the music industry
and reflecting on the evolution of Nigerian and African music globally.
✓ DR Congo – Kinshasa: Young author Pascal Boroto, 24, from Bukavu,
has won the 2026 Voix d'Afriques literary prize for his debut novel Le nom
de ma mère (My Mother’s Name). He was surprised after he entered just
two weeks before the deadline and is currently in residence at the
French Institute in Kinshasa.

Baba Vusamazulu Credo Mutwa, regarded as a prophet and diviner,
predicted events like the 1976 Soweto Uprisings, the 1993 assassination

author, with his first book Indaba, My Children selling over 250,000
copies.
