commemorating the end of Apartheid and promoting national unity.
➢ Tribute to Biko- Stephen (Steve) Bantu Biko was born on 18 December
1946 in Tarkastad, a small semi-urban town in what is now the Eastern
Cape province. He was a freedom fighter who dedicated his short life to
conscientizing and liberating young black people from oppressive white
authority.
