Dom welcomes back in Stephanie, a parent in the North Penn School District, who led a protest last week after a horrific incident played out in her child’s school Pennbrook Middle School, back onto the Dom Giordano Program to offer updates on the story after last night’s meeting on safety in the school district. Dom first reminds listeners of the story, telling of a terribly violent attack with a Stanley steel mug on a 12-year-old by a 13-year-old who has had a violent past. It came out with the incident that faculty were warned of an impending attack, with allegations that the warnings were ignored due to the gender identity of the assailant. After hanging up with Stephanie, Dom takes a call from Vince Altieri, another father in the North Penn school district, who penned an article for North Penn Now about the horrific attack in the district. Vince explains why he’s called for changes to administration, noting a continued trend of politics prioritized over other issues in the district, here being the safety of students.
