The Diary Room

The Diary Room ft. Alana Kim and Kim Garth

The Aussie women's team are in T20 World Cup mode and have already been in England for four weeks.

This week, we’ve got our two opening batters Beth Mooney and Georgia Voll joining host Emily Collin.

Possibly the most entertaining episode of the Diary Room yet, Beth and Georgia open the batting for Australia together but have an almost sisterly relationship and are not afraid to crack gags and be honest with each other.

NOTE: we recorded this episode before Beth got injured which meant back-up 'keeper Georgia had to take the gloves. It's almost like we manifested it!

CHAPTERS:

03:49 TLDR: Get to know the girls off the field

06:10 Beth and Georgia tell us about Sophie Molineux's hilarious 80s style aerobics session

12:51 Beth's disatrous travel story

16:20 Georgia joins the keeper's union! How did she get the title of back-up, back-up wicketkeeper and how's the last-minute practice going?

20:07 The dynamics of two good mates opening the batting for Australia together

24:11 The rocky start to the friendship, including the time that Volly nearly killed Moons' dog!

33:25 The girls offer some steaming hot takes which are bound to divide our listeners.

Fans in Australia can tune into the T20 World Cup live, exclusive and free on Prime Video.

The Diary Room with Georgia Voll and Beth Mooney

As we prepare to draw the curtains on what's been a rollercoaster 2025-26 season that's taken the Australian women's team around the globe, it's time to reflect and remember all the highlights and memories made along the way.

So joining us in The Diary Room for one last time this season, we have Victorian stars Kim Garth and Georgia Wareham for an 'Oscars' style Season in Review.

The awards presented on the show are as follows:
Best performance: most outstanding on-field display on the big stage
Best supporting actress: unsung hero in the team that quietly contributes to team culture on and off the field
Best cinematography: which player has delivered the best content to their legions of fans?
Costume design: which player has demonstrated the most innovation and creativity when wearing cricket kit?
Best comedy scene: funniest moment of the season
Best drama scene: most dramatic on-field moment of the season

In addition to presenting the awards, Kim and Georgia recap what's been a very successful white-ball series against the West Indies. They also speak about their great mate Sophie Molineux and how she's stepped into the shoes of captain with ease and put her own spin on things.
