The new campaign was tied to the release of a new oversized tumbler called The Tank, launched on May 18th and branded as “Tank Day.” The problem: May 18th is the anniversary of the Gwangju Democratic Uprising in South Korea, when the military-controlled government used tanks to suppress pro-democracy demonstrations.
