What are Trump rallies like? Who would you interview from the past? Isn't Roy doing a good job? Jordan Klepper joins Roy Wood Jr. to answer audience questions in this edition of After The Cut.
You're listening to Comedy Central. Do you feel like that left? You can feel nervous that I could go left, they could go left. My crowd never wants to go left. I will tell there is not an iota of left leaning in most of the crowds that I'm around. Uh. You know, the bum rushes at the rallies have have increased. Literally four hours ago, we were talking to someone and a woman and a giant maga hat humped my producer and jumped in front of the camera to try to interrupt the interview. Um. Again, I can handle a random humping on the street. That's fine as long as they're not armed. But but stuff is getting weirder and dicier out there every time I go out. UM over here, mask man, question for bold of you. So let's say College Central High. She said, Hey, you gotta go back in time interview? Who interview? If Comedy Central gave us a time machine, who did they go back in time and interview? How much money do you think Comedy Central has? Do you have? Do you have that? That is such an insulting question? Do you know how cheap this network is? This network program seventeen hours of the Office every single day. Roy is wearing my suit right now? You think they would invest in time travel technology? No way if anybody from Comedy Central was watching this right now, as Jordan Clipper said that not me. This is I believe this is Roy's hosting week. So as the boss, you've okayed this moment, you have to heavy as the crowd. Roy would if I'm going back in time, would you interview? I gotta go Martin Luther King or Malcolm mix Bro, Like I want to bring one of him up to the present day. But like, man, you see this shit. Man, you got to keep marching. What about you? Well, you took the obvious ones, so you know what. I would like to go back. It's a cliche, but I'd like to talk to Abraham Lincoln. One. It's nice to talk to somebody over six foot three, whoa I like some lincoln heads over there spring failed Illinois baby. I want to talk to Abraham Lincoln because I think his name has been besmirched in the last twenty years and he is used as like get me out of being racist card by so many folks on the Red Williams a Republican, So I'm like, I want to sit Abraham Lincoln down, read him the ship that's happening today, and be like, do you coside on this right now? Yes or no? Thank you for talking to me. Enjoy the theater. And then I've worn him, and then I've warned him. I've warned him. Sorry, don't go to the theater. Don't go to the theater. You shouldn't go to the theater. Don't play for everybody. Can I say one thing? How good a job it's Roy Wood Junior, Joe. I want to thrive pople. Look at that? Stop, look at it. I'm going there one hand. I'm gonna tell you. I'm gonna tell you what I Yeah, he keeps dunn, Why don't do? I want to say, Well, I was here in the John days. I remember I was here when Roy got brought on and in the first field piece we got to do together. Um, and I remember do you remember that? Yeah? Please, we're fond of police police. It was police buyas training I was taking place in Wisconsin, right, And Roy Wood Jr. Is funny like that, that's not a problem. But he's also one of the hardest working people in comedy I have ever met. And I remember that day you wanted to study how it was done. You put in the work, you put in the effort, and you're as kind as can be. And I think all those things you don't see because you make it look so easy, and so it's just a it's a testament to hard work and being a good person. The success that these shows have had, so it's as a fan of The Daily Show getting to watch you do this is great. Roy Wood, Jojor thank you get that third out, thank you.
