Ever been out with mates after work when your manager’s number flashes up on your phone screen?
In August this year, the Government’s right to disconnect laws came into effect, meaning you can now legally refuse a call or text from your boss once you’ve clocked off. The laws were developed over concerns about modern workplaces and smartphones invading personal lives.
In today’s deep dive, we’ll take a closer look at what’s changing, what this law means for workers and employers, and what the TDA audience told us they think about the right to disconnect.
Hosts: Harry Sekulich and Zara Seidler
