Manal al-Sharif is one of the women’s rights activists who helped to start the right to drive campaign in 2011. She saw the injustice of women not being able to drive in Saudi Arabia, and got behind the wheel in protest. When thousands of other women joined her, a movement was born.
In today's episode of the summer series, we're throwing back to an interview Sam did with Manal back in March.
