A Federal Senate Committee has recommended legal protection of a person’s ‘right to disconnect’ from work during their personal time. The committee examined draft laws addressing concerns about employee expectations outside work hours. In its report handed to the Government last week, the committee called for “clear expectations about contact and availability in workplaces”. Second hand fashion giant Depop is being sued in a U.S. court over hidden fees.

A woman in California alleges many Depop users may be unaware of the digital platform's mandatory checkout fees. She’s calling for better transparency, and an undisclosed financial sum. 

Thousands of Depop's 56.3 million registered users could potentially sign on to the lawsuit – what’s known as a class action. We’ll explain everything you need to know in today’s deep dive.
