You may have seen that Elon Musk has criticised a bill brought forward by U.S. President Donald Trump. Musk called Trump’s bill a “disgusting abomination”. 

It comes days after Musk finished up at the White House as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

West African country The Gambia has brought a case against Myanmar for alleged acts of genocide against the Rohingya people. When legal proceedings were launched in 2019, it was the first time an alleged genocide had been submitted to the ICJ by a country not directly affected by the genocide. This week, President Donald Trump renewed calls for America to take control of the Arctic territory of Greenland. On Wednesday, Denmark's foreign minister held talks in Washington with Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, but the meeting failed to resolve what Denmark described as a "fundamental disagreement."
