Reimagining our future means reimagining our industry's good ecosystem.

The vision of ‘what industry good would look like to maximise our future’ with the concept of a collaboration platform - The Common Ground is a starting point as one possible option of what a future model could look like to get the conversation going.

Join us as we dive into understanding how we could change how we work together whilst acknowledging the ‘good’ industry good bodies do have.

This episode, hosted by agricultural journalist Sarah Perriam-Lampp features KPMG Head of Global Agribusiness, Ian Proudfoot one of the authors of the report and AGMARDT general manager, Lee-Ann Marsh.

"It’s everyone's job and everyone has a role to play but it’s about how we do it effectively," explains Lee-Ann Marsh.

What’s discussed?

  • The world that we are operating in now and that unlocking the opportunities globally will only happen with collaboration
  • Why He Waka Eke Noa was a great opportunity but why trust broke down and the difference between the concept of The Common Ground
  • Explain the set of principles of The Common Ground and how industry leaders should see the benefit rather than threatened by the concept as it’s about co-investing together to make funds go further
  • Why the ‘big bang’ model of restructure the whole system will not change the culture and a change in thinking
