Zizipho Bam is a South African poet, author and cultural producer whose work lives at the intersection of storytelling, sensory experience, and healing. She creates spaces both on the page and on stage that centre Black voices and explore themes of love, longing, loss, and transformation. Her approach is deeply rooted in inclusive, multisensory engagement, inviting people to feel, reflect and act through poetry, performance, and collaborative worldbuilding.
Her debut collection, Sunflowers For My Lovers, has taken her on a tour across the country, performing at prestigious events like Open Book Festival, Poetry Africa and Poetry On The Lawn.
