Later we some great commentary with caller Jim out of San Diego about America’s 250-year celebration, the contributions of different cultures, and what makes the country unique. Jim called in to welcome Brett back and reflected on the role different groups have played in building the nation. The conversation turned toward the idea of America as a “melting pot,” where different backgrounds, ideas, and contributions come together to shape the country. Brett and Jim discussed freedom, opportunity, and the importance of recognizing the people who helped build America over generations.
