Brett praises Bezos for pushing back against progressive criticism from figures like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, arguing that successful businesses grow by providing products and services people want. He highlights Bezos’ defense of Amazon’s efficiency and his criticism of government waste, especially in large public school systems like New York City’s, where Brett says massive spending has failed to improve results.
