February 13th every year is designated World Radio Day by UNESCO to mark the importance of the medium as a free, portable and vital way to communicate with the population in remote places. Datuk Suhaimi Sulaiman is the Director-General of Broadcasting Department, overseeing Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) and has been with TV3, Astro Awani and Bernama before that.
