On this feature of Round the Bend Now & Then, Matt Emery, our local Michiana historian takes us back to a time when Park Jefferson was anything but an apartment complex.

The sprawling property once boasted an appliance king who decided to turn his knack for all appliance to all that is putting! It was once a large golf course! 

It was an inexpensive way the whole family could play golf before it was ever a place where hundreds of families now call it home.
