15 year old Lucas loves to mow, his family is involved in 4-H, oh and he LOVES Notre Dame! 

His love for Notre Dame runs deep, and he even once dressed like Touchdown Jesus for Halloween! 

He was born prematurely at 26 weeks weighing just one pound, but defied the odds. His Mom Jordan shares her pride:

"We are extremely proud of everything he's overcome. Everything they've told us that we didn't think would be an opportunity for him he's take those challenges on and he is hard-headed, and he will take a challenge and push through anything that happens. We're very proud of him."

Lucas has officially signed with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team through Team IMPACT. Head coach Marcus Freeman and the team welcomed Lucas and his family to the program to build a lifelong bond.
