It’s election day in Quebec, and after a campaign marked by debates over language, identity, immigration, sovereignty and the future of Quebec, voters are finally heading to the polls.
Montreal journalist and author Toula Drimonis wrote in the Montreal Gazette last week that many Quebecers seem disillusioned and politically homeless — and that the campaign has spent too much time dividing people instead of talking about what Quebec could accomplish together.
