A webinar titled "Climate-Smart Agriculture – Carbon Opportunities in Ag" was hosted on Thursday morning by the North Dakota Soybean Growers Association - in partnership with the North Dakota Soybean Council, American Soybean Association and the United Soybean Board. Ariel Wiegard, ASA Director of Government Affairs for Conservation, says there have been concerns in agriculture about a January 27th White House Executive Order from President Biden – his 30X30 plan –which is a federal effort to conserve 30% of U.S. lands and waters by the year 2030.
