New data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, analyzed by the Renewable Fuels Association, shows U.S. ethanol production declined for the week ending April 17, falling 7.1 percent to an 11-week low of 1.04 million barrels per day.

Farm Talk: Field work has started in southeastern North Dakota

Senator John Hoeven, Chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee and a senior member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, said North Dakota will expand its agriculture research leadership under the U.S. Department of Agriculture reorganization plan. Specifically, North Dakota will gain 45 additional Agricultural Research Service employees and 10 new research projects totaling approximately $28.5 million in annual research that will be reassigned from Maryland’s Beltsville Agricultural Research Center.
