Since 2010, the demand for U.S. pork has risen more than 50 percent in volume and 60 percent in value, in part to the consistency, quality and pricing of the product. 2021 year-end export data showed value increased five percent year-over-year at $8.1 billion and volume dropped slightly at 6.4 billion pounds.
