Lisa’s story is very complex and began with a brain hemorrhage as she was about to board a plane in Melbourne. She discusses her journey with me in an open and honest way…the good and the bad!
We discuss how medical teams can incorporate family members in to the care of people in hospitals. Management of pressure injuries and simply how to show kindness to our brothers and sisters with a disability.
Lisa is passionate about employment opportunities for people with disabilities, changing outdated stigmas and encouraging inclusivity.

Disability Advocacy with Lisa Cox

Etch sparkling was developed by Jason and Andy Quin.

With a background in the wine industry, it seemed a natural progression for Jason and Andy to move to the non-alcoholic space once Jason gave up drinking alcohol. 

Jason and Andy’s story is one like so many Australians, alcohol started to take the reins, and they made the decision to live an alcohol free life.  So, in true Aussie spirit, they decided to make an amazing array of sparkling non-alcoholic drinks that use Australian Native edibles that were shared with them by Uncle Lionel Lauch from Living Culture.  

Their drinks are amazing and they were the only available option when I stopped drinking and was feeling my way through an alcohol free lifestyle.

They share their story on the podcast this week, it was such a pleasure to chat with them both and understand all they are trying to achieve.

Today we chat with Alice Williams, who represented Australia at the Olympics this year in Paris. Alice is a team member on the Aussie Stingers waterpolo team which won silver.
Alice talks honestly and openly about the highs and lows of her Olympic preparations and the impact it has had on her mentally. From missing out on selection for the Tokyo Olympics, to the gruelling lead up to the Paris Olympics and winning a silver medal, Alice discusses with me how she managed her emotions which enabled her to have standout performance at this years Olympics.


As a strong advocate for mental health awareness in athletes and young women, she shares her own journey with openness and honesty.


Some of this conversation will surprise you, but, Alice’s honesty and vulnerability around the impact high level sport can have on an athlete is eye opening.
