This week's teacher feature award goes to Terry Hunter a career and technology teacher at Oak Canyon Junior High. He was nominated by a parent because of his great teaching skills as well as his dedication to the Technology Student Association. He gives so many hours to the program because they are building real skills for the workplace students will later be in. KSL NewsRadio's Teacher Feature recognizes outstanding teachers in the Utah community. Each teacher is presented each week by a different KSL NewsRadio personality who talks about how  they make a difference in the lives of the children they teach. 

Each winning teacher is honored with a plaque from Zions Bank, an overnight stay at Anniversary Inn, a gift certificate for dinner at the beautiful Roof Restaurant at Temple Square and a pair of season tickets from Hale Centre Theater!

All winners are also invited to attend an end-of-year banquet at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in their honor. In addition, one lucky teacher will win the grand prize 2-year lease on a new car courtesy of Burt Brothers Tire and Service.
