KSL NewsRadio's Teacher Feature recognizes outstanding teachers in the Utah community. Each teacher is presented each week by a different KSL NewsRadio personality who talks about how  they make a difference in the lives of the children they teach. 

Each winning teacher is honored with a plaque from Zions Bank, an overnight stay at Anniversary Inn, a gift certificate for dinner at the beautiful Roof Restaurant at Temple Square and a pair of season tickets from Hale Centre Theater!

Her husband writes "For 19 years, she has invested anywhere from $3,000 to $5,000 of her salary to supply her students with the tools she thinks are essential to their experience in kindergarten, and to lay a foundation for her kids to succeed as they move into the upper grades.
