We celebrate a couple of special days on the Talking Vision calendar this week, as mums around the country head into the week after being pampered on Mother's Day this past Sunday, and on Thursday May 18 we focus on Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD).

To kick off the show Sam catches up with mother of two Deena for Mother's Day. Deena talks about how she and husband Thomas have navigated raising two daughters together as parents who are both blind or have low vision.

Then later on in the program we hear from digital access consultant Rosie to celebrate GAAD. She tells us all about the latest digital accessibility survey from Vision Australia, and some priorities that have emerged to improve digital accessibility for the blind and low vision community.
