Malaria is beginning to pop up in this country among people who never traveled abroad. Doctors say this indicates that it is once again spreading in homegrown mosquito populations. The disease was mostly eliminated in the 1950’s thanks to pesticides but now scientists say climate change and shorter winter months aren’t killing the insects.
