For several years now, a debate over history educationin America  has generated outrage, wild claims, and a growing sense of alarm in homes and communities across the country. All too often  students now encounter little bits and pieces of history out of context and unfortunately the true historic picture of what really happed is often blurred. But the new ceo of chattanooga’s  National Medal of Honor Heritage Center is saying his goal is to honor the past and teach future generations like never before.
