Award-winning theatre-maker Candace Miles is a co-producer of 'Garage Girls' - exploring the life of trailblazing female mechanic Alice Anderson.  The local production takes audiences back to 1920s Melbourne to experience Australia's first all-girl garage.  SYN Media’s Mia Ranalletta asked about the real history behind the show, what it was like to produce, and why the story is meaningful to Miles.

Garage Girls' current run is sold out, but you visit La Mama Theatre's website to access a livestream or follow Three Birds Theatre for updates on a 2024 Victorian tour.
