During the course of his diverse career on stage and screen, Frankie J Holden has become a household name.
He began his show business career with the legendary rock group “OL’55”, one of the most successful Australian recording acts of all time, before creating some of Australian television’s most memorable characters through leading roles in long-running serials: Blue Heelers, Police rescue, Underbelly and more recently playing the fantastic character Roy Briggs on A Place to Call Home which earned him the Most Outstanding Supporting Actor at the 2019 Logies.
In 2016, he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the arts as an entertainer and to the community of the Sapphire Coast. He has worked in various television presenting roles and appeared in over thirty films both here and overseas and still performs across the nation.
