Dear Steve and Shirley, I am a black young lady in my mid 20s and I have been in debt since I graduated from college in 2016. I assumed I would be stepping out into the real world and paying a few bills, but not as many as I have now. While I was in college, my mom opened multiple credit cards in my name and proceeded to max them all out on her bills and personal items. Fast forward to today, my credit card debt is well over $8,500 and I am trying to pay the minimum payments on the bills so I can maintain a good credit score.............
