Dear Steve and Shirley,

I’ve been married for 10 years. We don’t have any children together, but my husband has two grown kids and another “play daughter.” Before we got married, he had an ex-girlfriend and started dating her when her daughter was only two-years-old, so he became really close to the little girl. The girl even calls him “daddy.” When she was younger, he taught her how to ride a bike, they went bowling often, school shopping and he’d help her mom out financially with things the child needed....
