Dear Steve and Shirley, I've been married a little over a year and the consistent issue my husband and I have is, he thinks that I talk to my mom and hang out with her too much. My mom is my best friend and I am her only daughter, but I don’t ever let our relationship trump the relationship with my husband. I hang with my mom while my husband is at work and I make sure that I'm home by the time he gets off and I ensure that dinner is ready for him and the house is clean.
