Dear Steve and Shirley, I’m tired of motherhood.  Sorry, but I am no longer interested in being a mother.  I am 28 years old and I have a 5 year old daughter that is disrespectful, obnoxious and constant source of embarrassment in public.  She is out of control on a daily basis.  Beating her behind does not help and I don’t know what else to do.  I have tried many ways of disciplining her.  Reverse psychology and time out don’t work on her.  I can’t seem to get thru to her without yelling and arguing.  Why am I arguing with a 5 year old?
