In July of 2014, police were called upon a residence in the city of Pocheon in South Korea after neighbours had called in to report a wailing boy in one of the apartments. Upon entering the scene, they would be met with a foul odour, and the sight of heaps of trash laying around, including the room where the boy was eventually found.

But perhaps what was most shocking was when they identified the source of the smell; a small room with a large kimchi bucket, filled with horrific secrets.
