It's July 2004. In a secluded ravine in Hong Kong, a grim discovery was made. Remains belonging to an 18-year-old girl. Her body had been deliberately concealed, and whoever had left her there had taken disturbing steps to make identification more difficult.
Investigators would eventually uncover her identity as Lau Mei-ying. But to those who knew her, she was simply “Fei Mui.”
In the days before her death, Fei Mui had been staying inside a flat in Lam Tin, surrounded by a group of young people she knew. But what began behind those closed doors would escalate into something far more sinister, a prolonged ordeal of humiliation and violence, witnessed by people who could have stopped it.
By the time the truth emerged, investigators would be left with a troubling question: how could so many people be present, yet no one do anything to save her?
This is the disturbing story of the girl they called Fei Mui.
