Maya woke up in a strange place that she didn't know. Surrounding her was lush greenery, gorgeous flower beds, and a serene natural beauty; the kind of place that only seemed to exist in fairy tales. 

And yet, something about her whole situation seemed unnerving. After all, she last remembered being at a party the night before, before waking up in this strange place. This was when another woman, Lyonette, appeared and introduced herself to Maya.

Through Lyonette, Maya learned about the peculiarities of this place, known as "The Garden". She learned that there other women here as well, and that they were being taken care for by a man only known to them as "The Gardener"; a mysterious figure who had established a strict set of rules for the women to follow.

And over time, she would also learn that there would be strict punishments for those who break the rules.
