Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross was found guilty of tampering with Tom Brady and Sean Payton by the NFL. Much like former President Donald J. Trump – whom the Dolphins owner has openly supported for years - Ross is a rich and powerful man who acts as if the rules don’t always apply to him. How else do you explain the decision to brazenly defying the NFL’s anti-tampering policy multiple times over a four-year period? What’s more, this current Dolphins squad headlined by Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have the potential to be pretty good this season. It would be a shame for all that to come crashing down because their owner thinks he's above the law. Later, J-Mac switches gears to baseball by recapping a wild MLB Trade Deadline that saw the Los Angeles Dodgers land slugger Joey Gallo (Ha!) and the San Diego Padres acquire superstar Juan Soto. The Dodgers-Padres rivalry has been brewing for some time now, but the Padres landing Soto should push things over the top. Assuming good health for both clubs, these two teams should both be in World Series contention for years to come.  Sticking with baseball, our fearless leaders closes the show by discussing the unfortunate passing of legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully. Scully was an icon in Los Angeles and across the country. He will most definitely be missed.
