On today's episode, Jason and Producer Rob G share their thoughts on the Las Vegas Raiders' wild Monday Night Football victory over the Baltimore Ravens. It was a coming out party of sorts for Derek Carr as he thoroughly outplayed Lamar Jackson for most of the game, and more importantly, made the clutch plays down the stretch in the 4th quarter and overtime to help the Raiders win the game. On the flip side, Jackson was under siege most of the night behind a leaky offensive line and had two backbreaking turnovers late that burned the Ravens; He made a number of 'splash' plays throughout the night but he also missed several routine plays that he's going to have to make if he has any hopes of securing that $250 million extension he's been looking for. Come to think of it, none of the 'big money' extension quarterbacks (Jackson, Josh Allen, Baker Mayfield) came up clutch in week 1. In any event, with the Kansas City Chiefs looming in week 2, this was a game that the Ravens almost had to win; Baltimore can't afford to fall down 0-2 if they want to keep pace in the AFC.
