On today’s episode, Jason kicks things off with a few thoughts on the Indianapolis Colts’ acquisition of quarterback Matt Ryan. The trade is a clear slam dunk for Indy. Ryan gives the Colts something they didn’t have last season with Carson Wentz: A quarterback who can win games with his arm. Now, Indianapolis will still rely heavily on running back Jonathan Taylor and a stout defense, but the mere fact that they can also win through the air means that the Colts should be viewed as the heavy favorites to win the AFC South. What’s more, given how weak their division is, don’t be surprised to see the Colts get the #1 overall seed in the AFC. Later, Bally Sports NBA analyst Brandon 'Scoop B' Robinson swings by to discuss why he's optimistic about Ja Morant the Memphis Grizzlies in the suddenly wide open Western Conference, the Los Angeles Lakers' plan for getting Anthony Davis back on the floor, how the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics matchup in a hypothetical playoff series, whether or not Jayson Tatum is indeed the best offensive player in the League, why Steve Nash - not Kyrie Irving - is the biggest reason why James Harden wanted out of Brooklyn, what exactly makes Kyrie so popular on #NBATwitter, his early First Team All-NBA picks, and more!
